This is a picture of me, my great-grandmother Violet, and my half-brother Alec on Christmas Day 2002. My Gramma passed away on April 20th, 2004 at approximately 10 a.m. after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She had been in and out of the hospital since December 2003. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. I was able to spend her last few months on Earth with her. I spent the majority of my time at the hospital. My Gramma and I were VERY close, and she is the only person I could ever trust. I love her very much. I miss you, Gramma. I'll be up there in Heaven with you soon. I know you're watching over me. Thank you for everything.
