On Being A Teenager
OK, at 16, 17, people expect us to be these mature people who know right from wrong, love from hate, and what we're going
to be doing in 10 years. Well, HOW THE HELL ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW RIGHT FROM WRONG AND LOVE FROM HATE AND WHAT THE REAL
WORLD IS LIKE IF WE ARE BEING QUARANTINED?!?! Parents always assume that their child(ren) can do no wrong...well, duh!
If we're stuck at home all the time, becoming slaves of reality before we are supposed to, HOW THE HELL CAN WE DO ANYTHING?!
I am seventeen, I should be living my life, not being stuck at home every god damn day of my life, babysitting my little brother
for FREE... I get $20 every two weeks for my allowance... That is just wrong. I had a job offer, but got turned down becuase
of my availability, because my stupid ass mother won't find a sitter for my brother. Well, she has another thing coming. I
am moving out early in the new year. THEN what's the bitch gonna do?!?!
Standardized Tests
I think standardized tests are unfair because they don't test you on what you know and they try to trick you. What grades
you get in regular classes are more important than how you do on some stupid test that you take on one day that you might
not be feeling good.
